NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the additional Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) results of 37 candidates for the 2024 SSC Sub-Inspector Examination in the Delhi Police and CAPFs. Candidates will be able to download their provisional admission certificate on April 25 from the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The results of Phase 1 of the SSC Sub-Inspector Examination in the Delhi Police and CAPFs were announced on September 2, 2024. A total of 83,614 candidates were declared eligible based on various lists. Qualifying candidates were called for a Physical Endurance Test, and the PET/PST results were announced on February 3, 2025. Shortlisted candidates were scheduled to appear for the second examination. However, based on the recommendations of the Nodal Force (BSF), the PET/PST results of 144 candidates were reviewed on March 5, 2025, and they were declared ineligible for not meeting the height standards.
The commission indicated that it had found some anomalies in the height measurement of these 144 candidates. After reviewing the matter in consultation with the BSF, a re-evaluation of these candidates was conducted on April 16, 2025.
Of these 144 candidates, 86 appeared for the height re-evaluation, and 37 were declared qualified. As per the recommendations, these 37 candidates will now be eligible to appear for the second test. The Delhi Police Force (SSC) Sub-Inspector Examinations, Paper 2, will be held in Guwahati, Assam, on April 30. The admit card will be available on April 25 on the official website, ssc.gov.in. "Candidates should note that the Commission will retain their admission certificates during the exam," he added.
He clarified that the SSC SI and CAPF results, announced on February 3 and March 5, remain unchanged.
