SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam

SSC Stenographer 2025 Exam: Staff Selection Commission is conducting the SSC Stenographer exam. Along with SSC, an important update has also been released regarding the information related to the exam city and SSC Stenographer 2025 Admit Card. According to SSC, the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' is being conducted from 6th to 8th August, 2025. For the convenience of candidates from different regions, this exam will be conducted at 157 centers in 85 cities across the country.

A total of more than 3.50 lakh candidates have registered for the SSC Stenographer Recruitment Exam 2025. SSC has made significant efforts keeping in mind the preferences of the candidates. About 79% of the applicants have been allotted SSC Stenographer 2025 exam centers based on their first, second or third choice filled in the online application form.

For the remaining candidates, due to logistical constraints or limited availability, centres have been allotted at nearby locations. The Commission has ensured that inconvenience is minimal. The average distance between the address of candidates allotted to alternate centres and the exam city is about 220 kilometres.

Guidelines for Candidates Appearing for SSC Stenographer Exam 2025

Candidates are advised to follow the following guidelines:

1. Download their SSC Stenographer 2025 Admit Card from the regional SSC websites well in advance.
2. They should carefully check the exact SSC Stenographer exam date, shift timings and exam centre address.
3. Make travel arrangements accordingly, especially for SSC Stenographer centres allotted in neighbouring cities.
4. Reach the centre before the reporting time to avoid last-minute hassles.
