TNEA 2025 Choice Filling Begins for 7.5% Govt School Quota – Seat Allotment Tomorrow

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has activated the option filling window for candidates who applied under the 7.5% government school special reservation. Individuals can now make a choice of the courses and colleges they want until 7 pm today. The TNEA choice filling portal is now open on the official website, tneaonline.org.

On this point, the head of the directorate has made it known that both general and government special reservation quota TNEA seat matrices are being uploaded. The students enrolled in the vocational stream are requested to visit the university official website and have a look at the category-wise seats available.

The TNEA rank list 2025 revealed that the candidates have been numbered as high as 2,41,641 – 20.9% more students in comparison with last year. Before making any decision, users need to verify seats, TNEA previous year cut-off trends, and the remaining vacancies.

Participants are advised to prepare a list of their preferred courses and colleges from which the authorities would select them and in the order of preference to maximize the possibility of their admission to a particular institute.

TNEA counselling dates 2025

According to the plan, the TNEA tentative seat allotment results will be out on July 8 at 7 am. The round 1 selected students will have time until 5 pm to confirm their admission, and the provisional allotment list will be published again at 9 pm on the day itself.

The authorities have been announced that the round 1 counseling under the government special reservation will be conducted for those candidates who have got marks in the range of 200 to 179 along with TNEA rank between 1 to 2662 registrants.

On July 9 the TNEA counselling dates for general special reservation categories will be started. Those candidates will be able to finish their counseling during July 11.
