TNEA 2025 Counselling Registration

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2025 counselling registration is set to close tomorrow, June 6. Candidates have time till June 9 to submit the required documents for their admission. Candidates can register online for TNEA counselling on the official website tneaonline.org.

Starting from June 10 to June 20, candidates will have to get their certificates verified at designated centres. TNEA 2025 roll number assignment, which will be used for tie-breaking in TNEA rank assignment (if required), will begin on June 11.

The TNEA 2025 rank list will be released on June 27. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will also share the complete counselling schedule soon. For now, it has been noted that the counselling dates will be updated after the release of AICTE's academic calendar. TNEA 2025 online counselling will include - choice filling, seat allotment, seat confirmation and reporting at the allotted college.

How to Register for TNEA Counselling 2025?

The following steps to apply for TNEA counselling 2025 are mentioned below:

1. Registration: Candidates have to register by providing all the required details and verifying the OTP sent upon completion of registration.
2. Login: After getting the user ID and password, candidates have to log in to enter their details in the TNEA application form.
3. Filling the application form: Candidates have to complete the TNEA online application form by providing personal details, reservation information, scholarship details, study school information and academic details.
4. Preview and Final Submission: Upon filling out the application form, candidates should preview it for any errors and then submit it.
5. Payment of application fee: The application fee is to be paid online through debit card, net banking or credit card.
6. Printout of application form: After submitting the academic details, candidates have to print a copy of the application form for future reference during the admission process.

The admission through TNEA 2025 counselling will be based on the plus two marks of the candidates. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the prescribed subjects, which will be scaled down to a total of 200 marks (Mathematics: 100, Physics: 50, Chemistry: 50) in the qualifying examination. The marks provided by the candidates through the TNEA 2025 application form will undergo normalisation, and a merit list will be published based on the normalised scores.
