Tripura NEET Counselling 2025 Seat Resignation

Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 reported seats can be resigned by candidates on or before August 28, 2025, 5 PM. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura, have provided the seat resignation facility for candidates who were allotted seats in the first round. Conversely, the institute reporting process of Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 has also been extended up to August 26, 2025, 2 PM, which was previously scheduled up to August 24, 2025.

Announcing the same, DME Tripura has clarified, "TRMCC has received many requests from UG candidates for surrendering/withdrawing their Round-1 admitted seats on account of various personal reasons. On this issue, the competent authority has resolved to permit Surrender/Withdrawal with no loss of security deposit for such candidates."

Instructions for Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Seat Resignation

DME Tripura has given the following details about the seat resignation process of the Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat resignation:

1. Candidates who have already joined the college allotted and received the Admission Letter, and now want to resign, have to personally visit the allotted college and receive a Surrender/Withdrawal Letter.
2. Candidates withdrawing the Round-1 allotted and admitted seat at any point during counselling after 28-08-2025, 05.00 PM, will lose the security deposit will be lost.
3. Candidates who have not received the Admission Letter from the allotted Institute are NOT required to visit the allotted college for withdrawal and will be considered as Free Exit.
4. Applicants should ensure their Surrender/Withdrawal Letter is produced online (via the TRMCC portal) by the designated college. Where this is not done, the surrender/withdrawal shall be considered Null & Void.

The result of the Tripura NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 seat allotment was announced on 18th August 2025. A maximum of 389 applicants were allotted MBBS and BDS seats. The institute reporting process had started on 21st August 2025.
