Telangana State EdCET 2025 has announced the schedule and guidelines for the Spot Counselling Round. The candidates who are yet to be allocated to any institution can be admitted to private unaided colleges for the BEd courses. TG EdCET Exam Eligibility 2025
- The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
- The candidate should belong to Telangana.
- The candidates should satisfy the local/unreserved status requirements as specified in G.O.Ms.No. 15 Higher Education (TE) Department dated 27-02-2025. Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in each course in the Educational Institutions in the State for the local candidates of O.U. Area as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended, and the remaining 15% of the seats should be unreserved Seats as follows:
- All such candidates who are eligible to be announced as local candidates of O.U. Area.
- Candidates who have been continuously residing in the State for a period of ten years, excluding service on leave outside the State, or either of whose parents has been residing continuously in the State for a period of ten years, excluding employment outside the State;
- Those candidates who are the children of parents employed in this State or the Central Government, Public Sector Corporation, Local Bodies, Universities and other such quasi-public institutions in the State; and
- Spouses of candidates who are employed in the service of the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities and educational Institutions recognised by the Government or a University or Other competent authority and such other quasi-Government institutions as are established within the State.
- Eligibility to various methods is adhered to according to G.O.MS No.24, dated 24 08-2017, G.O. Ms No. 05 dt 31.01.2020, G.O. Ms No. 14 dt 12-04-2021 and G.O. Ms. No.16 dt 11-06-2021.
- Candidate should have passed:
- a) In any of the Bachelor's Degree, i.e. BA, BCom, BSc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, BA(Oriental Languages), BBA, or in Master's Degree, obtaining at least 50%aggregate marks.
- b) Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with 50% aggregate marks or other equivalent qualification.
- c) But candidates from the reserved categories, viz., SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories, should have obtained 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- d) Candidates must be asked to submit a marks memo and a pass certificate during counselling for Admission
- e) Candidates who have MBBS/BSC (AG)/BSC (Horticulture)/BSC (Architecture)/BVSC/BHMT/ BPharm and similar other professional and job-oriented degree courses, viz., LLB, are not entitled to admission into Bthe Ed course.
- f) Candidates with a Master's Degree without having pursued an Undergraduate study are not eligible for admission
- Age Limit: The applicants must have crossed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the year when the notification is published. There should be no maximum age limit

|
Candidates with a BA/BSc with Mathematics as one of the group subjects, BE/BTech with Mathematics and BCA candidates with Mathematics at the Intermediate level as a group subject.

Physical Science
|
Candidates with a BSc who have studied Physics or Chemistry, or allied subjects under Part-II group subjects. BE/B.Tech with Physics or Chemistry subjects and BCA candidates with Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at the Intermediate level as a group subject

|
Candidates with BSc/BSc (Home Science) who have studied Botany or Zoology or allied subjects under Part-II group subjects, and BCA students with Biological Sciences at the Intermediate level as a group subject.

TG EDCET 2025 Fee Details
The candidates are required to deposit the following Processing Fee at the college: Rs 500/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs 800/-for others on joining, and an amount of Rs. 100/- under the head "Telangana Green Fund". Make sure to adhere to the TS EdCET spot round counselling guidelines.
