UGC NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates may check the eligibility criteria of UGC NET (based on last year) to apply online:

Eligible Candidates: Every candidate with a four-year bachelor's degree in any stream or a master's degree shall be eligible for the exam. SC/ST/OBC candidates with age relaxation according to UGC norms will have to apply for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) if they are 30 years or below.

It does not have any upper age limit for seeking the examination for Assistant Professor. Candidates who are in the post-graduation stage or in the final year can apply to sit in the UGC NET Assistant Professor exam 2024.
