UGC NET Application 2024 Deadline Extended: Apply Now Until May 19

UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for the UGC NET application form till 19th May 2024. However, the last date for payment of the application form is 20th May 2024. On the other hand, the application correction window will be activated on 21-23 May 2024. NTA NET exam is scheduled for 18 June 2024. UGC NET fee for the June session is the same as the last session ie. INR 1150 for UR, INR 600 for OBC and INR 325 for SC/ST/PwD and other categories. 

How to Apply for UGC NET 2024?

Candidates who wish to fill out the UGC NET Exam Application Form can do so by following the instructions given below:

1. Visit the website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the ‘Application form’ link mentioned at the bottom of the home page.
3. Click on the ‘New Registration’.
4. Enter the required details and complete the registration.
5. Fill out the complete application form.
6. Download scanned images of passport-size photographs (10-200 KB) and signatures (4-30 KB). Both photographs should be in JPEG format.
7. Pay UGC NET Application Fee (Gen – INR 1150; OBC/EWS – INR 600; SC/ST/PwD/Transgender – INR 325).
8. Save and submit the form.
9. Download the confirmation page.
