Uttar Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2024: 81 Candidates Barred from MD, MS Admissions

UP NEET PG counselling 2024 has started in online mode at the official website. Meanwhile, DMET UP has announced the list of candidates disqualified from admission to PG medical courses across the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has released the list of candidates barred from NEET PG 2024 counselling in the state. More than 80 candidates have been disqualified from the NEET PG 2024 counselling process in Uttar Pradesh due to the mistakes made in 2023. Further, according to the notification published by DMET UP on the official website, 276 other candidates have been left out of the NEET UG counselling process.

"If some candidates do not take admission after allotment from stray vacancy round, the deposit of those candidates will be cancelled from the UP NEET PG 2024-25 counselling." It is mentioned in the official notification.

According to reports, in the academic session 2023-24, a total of 81 students were allotted PG (MD/MS) seats d under the stray vacancy round but failed to take admission in the stray round. It is the last chance for students to take admission. The stray vacancy round includes students who did not prefer their choice after allotment of seats from the stray vacancy round. But these students were not admitted and the seats remained vacant throughout the year.
