UPSC Main exam 2025
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the General Studies paper on the second day of the Civil Services (Main) Exam 2025 and the second shift will close at 5:30 pm on Saturday. Around 1,461 candidates are appearing for the main exam.
The commission is conducting the exam in two shifts - the forenoon session is from 9 am to 12 noon and the afternoon session is from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The exam is being held in across the country in 24 exam centres between August 22 and 31.
Candidates are required to carry the UPSC CSE Main exam 2025 admit card and a photo identity card to the examination centre. Candidates can download UPSC CSE Admit Card 2025 from the official website upsc.gov.in.
According to the pattern of UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2025, the written exam comprises nine papers carrying a total of 1,750 marks. Candidates qualifying the written exam will be eligible for the interview or personality test, which will have 275 marks. So, the main exam will be of total 2,025 marks.
