UPTAC Round 1 Allotment 2025 LIVE Updates: The UPTAC counselling 2025 round 1 allotment will be announced by AKTU today, July 30. The candidates can check their BTech seat (college and course) allotted at uptac.admissions.nic.in. In order to check the AKTU counselling round 1 allotment 2025, the candidates have to login into the official website by entering their JEE Main 2025 application number and password.

Once the seat allotment result is declared, applicants getting a seat in the UPTAC counselling round 1 need to fill online willingness (freeze/float) and pay the seat confirmation fee on or before August 1.

1. Go to the official website - uptac.admissions.nic.in, and on the home page, search for the UPTAC BTech round 1 allotment link.
2. Now, click on the link and in the next window, enter the login credentials asked - JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
3. After logging in, candidates will be able to see their allotment result, which will contain the name of the allotted institute as well as course.

What After AKTU UPTAC Counselling Round 1 Allotment?

Immediately after the candidate has accessed the allotment result, they will be required to:

1. Pay seat acceptance fee: The Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 20000 (General and OBC)/INR 12000 (SC & ST) must be paid by the candidates. A candidate who does not pay the seat acceptance fee will not be considered for any further process of the UPTAC counselling 2025.
2. Online willingness submission: Once the acceptance fee is paid, the candidate will have a choice to 'Freeze' or 'Float' the allotted seat.

AKTU UPTAC BTech Counselling Round 1 Allotment 2025 - Freeze and Float Explained

Here is a description of what 'freeze' and 'float' are in UPTAC counselling 2025:

1. Freeze: A student who opts to "freeze" confirms the seat and does not wish to be involved in subsequent rounds of seat allotment. If 'freeze' of the allotted seat occurs, the student will not be entertained in subsequent phases of counselling for upgrading the seat.
2. Float: A candidate who "floats" holds the seat which has been alloted to him but is yet eligible for later counselling rounds. Candidates who choose "float" are offered upgradation, i.e., they may be allocated a seat of their higher choice, if found available.

In UPTAC counselling 2025, there are four principal rounds (R1, R2, R3, R4), one sliding round (R5), which is internal, and special rounds (R6 onwards, subject to the availability of vacant seats). A candidate can withdraw from UPTAC counselling in Rounds 2, 3, and 4. Refunds of seat allotment fees will be made only to the validly withdrawing candidates from the UPTAC counselling after the deadlines.
