WB ANM GNM 2024 exam date has been revised due to natural calamities in West Bengal districts

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has postponed the WB ANM GNM 2024 exam date with official notification. Now the new exam date of WB ANM GNM 2024 is 4 August 2024 (Sunday). WBJEEB has extended the date of the WB ANM GNM 2024 exam due to unavoidable weather conditions in some parts of the Indian state of West Bengal. 

Earlier, the WB ANM GNM exam was scheduled for July 14, 2024 (Sunday). The examination was scheduled to be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM in numerous exam centres in the state. However, in the wake of unavoidable circumstances relating to the natural calamity in some areas of the state, the dates have been revised.

Hence, the new WB ANM exam date 2024 is August 4, 2024. Along with this, the revised WB GNM exam date 2024 is August 4, 2024, as per the notification released by the authorities on the official website. 

What is the WB ANM GNM Exam 2024? 

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) conducts WB Auxillary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) examinations for admission to nursing courses in West Bengal. The exam will be scheduled in pen and pencil paper tests in OMR sheet-filling mode. There are a total of 500 (263 reserved and 237 unreserved) for the ANM program in various nursing schools in West Bengal.
