The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is expected to declare the WBJEE 2025 result tomorrow, i.e., August 7, 2025. According to various media reports, WBJEEB chairperson Sonali Chakraborty Banerjee has confirmed that the WBJEE Result 2025 will be released online on August 7, 2025, at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. This announcement has brought relief to all the students who were waiting for the result announcement, as it was delayed by almost two months. WBJEE 2025 was conducted on April 27, 2025, as a pen-and-paper based exam.

WBJEE 2025 Result: SC orders stay on Calcutta High Court’s Decision on OBC Category

The delay in the declaration of WBJEE Result 2025 was due to the ongoing OBC category list dispute between the state and the High Court. The WBJEEB chairman has said that the WBJEE 2025 result was to be declared on June 5, 2025; however, the declaration was postponed due to the ongoing legal proceedings. Now that the Supreme Court has stayed the High Court verdict, WBJEEB will release the WBJEE result/rank card.

WBJEEB has also launched an online facility for students to change their social category details before the WBJEE 2025 result declaration. Through this facility, candidates can update their social category, and verification will be done by the allotted institute at the time of admission.
