In the hearing held today, Justice Kaushik Chanda has verbally ordered WBJEEB to stay the WBJEE Result 2025 and prepare the merit list with 7% OBC reservation within 15 days. The result has been postponed again due to the initiation of contempt proceedings against the state in the High Court. The Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department of West Bengal has been directed to appear in the court virtually to clarify the state's position.

The WBJEE 2025 result was expected to be released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) on August 7, 2025. However, the announcement has been postponed once again due to a contempt petition filed late at night. The official link to download the WBJEE 2025 result will be activated at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee. To check the WBJEE result, candidates will have to log in using their application form number and date of birth.
