IIT Roorkee has created a single window system for all scholarships and its related affairs. The following financial assistance/ Scholarships are offered to the students of IIT Roorkee:

James Thomason Scholarship	Under this Scholarship tudents having up to 250 All India Rank in JEE (Advanced) are eligible for INR 25,000 per month for the entire duration of the program.
Merit cum Means Scholarship	Under this scheme, the beneficiary (General/ OBC Students) gets tuition fee tuition fee reimbursement and additionally ?1,000 per month for 10 months. Whereas an M.Sc. student who is an MCM scholarship beneficiary gets ?1,000 per month for 10 months.
