The states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand offer various scholarships based on both need and merit.

Students belonging to notified minority communities viz. Muslim/Christian/Sikh/Buddhist/Jain/Parsi (Zoroastrian) studying in India only and fulfilling the Scheme guidelines are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

An applicant should have received the sports certificates at any of the four levels- School, District, State, and National. RIT offers Scholarships for sports Quota students who have done well in their sport and seeking admission to RIT in any branch/stream.

•Students who have played at the national level may receive a 50% scholarship on tuition fees.

•Students who have played at the state level may receive a 30% scholarship on tuition fees.

•Students who have played at the District level may receive a 20% scholarship on tuition fees.
