The course entitled M.Tech in Molecular Engineering: Chemical Synthesis and Analysis is provided Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, for two years as a postgraduate course distributed in four semesters, having two semesters in a year. 
This course is divided into 54-course credits distributed as 42 credits for program core and 12 credits for open elective/ PE/ OE. 

Eligibility Criteria for Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Molecular Engineering: Chemical Synthesis & Analysis

Students of B.Tech or M.Sc. or equivalent who have secured a CGPA 6.75 on a 10 point scale or have secured 60% marks in aggregate for the General category are eligible. In addition, they have to consider criteria such as a GATE score of 300 or a qualifying score and a GATE score of 200, or a qualifying score as applicable according to higher scores for SC/ ST/ PD Category. Students of IITs who have a CGPA of 8.00 are eligible without the GATE exam.
Direct admission to the course has criteria as Students of the General/ OBC category should have a CGPA of 8.5 or 75% marks in aggregate. Students of the SC/ ST/ PD category should have a CGPA of 7.5 or 70% aggregate mark. Qualifying GATE score for General/ OBC students is 300 and 200 for SC/ ST/ PD category.

  • After filling the application form, candidates would be shortlisted for a written test or interview based on their scores obtained in GATE.
  • Those candidates who have secured more than 75% in B.Tech or M.Sc and minimum qualifying marks in GATE do not need to appear for the written test or interview.
