Aggarwal College Ballabgarh (ACB) established in 1971 is a premier Higher Education Institution which runs under the aegis of Aggarwal Vidya Pracharni Sabha (Regd.) Ballabgarh. The parent body (formally registered in 1945) has been working for the cause of education since 1919. Besides ACB, the Parent Body is running one College of Education and four schools imparting education to around 13354 students. The college is included under Section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956 and was awarded the prestigious 'College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)' Status by UGC, New Delhi in 2016. The excellence and the quality standard of the college can be gauged from the fact that it was reaccredited for the 3rd Cycle by NAAC, Bengaluru and awarded an 'A++' Grade with a CGPA of 3.57 in 2019. Keeping in view the higher CGPA of 3.57 in the state, the college has also been identified for RUSA grants. Aggarwal College Ballabgarh (ACB) A grant of Rs 2 crore under the RUSA scheme for infrastructure and building construction has already been sanctioned by the Director General of Higher Education, Haryana.

Aggarwal College, Ballabgarh (ACB), one of the premier educational institutions of Haryana, had its humble beginnings in the year 1971 with a group of visionaries who were determined to transform and fulfil the educational needs of the area. Since then, there has been no looking back and with every passing year the college has been achieving a new milestone in the field of education. Our this journey of 47 years, through the horizon of non-technical education has culminated in a vast expansion of Higher Education covering a wide range of disciplines spread its wings over different disciplines and the college has made tremendous progress on all fronts, be it education, research, sports, extra-curricular or outreach activities. Starting from a handful of students, the college has grown up exponentially both in quality and quantity. The college has a herculean strength of 4768 students enrolled in its 2018-19 session out of which 2587 are girl students - an impressive ratio depicting gender equality, women empowerment and leadership indeed. At present, the college is running 07 Under Graduate, 05 Hons. and 08 Post Graduate Programmes along with 02 recognised Research Centres in Physics and Chemistry. Besides, six Add-on courses and two vocational B.Voc. (Retail Management) and B.Voc. (Software Development) programmes sponsored by University Grants Commission are also being run to equip the students with market-oriented innovative skills and values. In order to fill the gap between industrial needs and educational delivery through traditional courses, several certificates, diplomas and advanced diploma courses are being run in the college in collaboration with various industries and skill-imparting agencies. Further, UGC has approved two more B.Voc. Programmes in Hospitality Management and Tourism Management, and 07 Certificate Courses: Mobile Repairing; Front Office Operations; Good and Service Tax Accounts; Beauty and Wellness; Waste Management; LED Light Repairing; Tally with GST to be run by our institution under NSQF from the session 2019-2020.
