A.S College, Deoghar, Dumka Sub-division of S.K.M.U, started its journey to excellence in 1969 under the able guidance of Dr. H. Narayan, the founder of the college.
A.S College, Deoghar, Dumka Sub-division of S.K.M.U, started its journey to excellence in 1969 under the able guidance of Dr. H. Narayan, the founder of the college. It started as an evening college and as the number of students increased, it became a day college. At present, A.S College, Deoghar has two separate blocks where Arts, Commerce, and Science are taught by qualified and qualified teachers. In addition to teaching general courses, he manages the management and informatics department. BBA (H), BCA (H) department was established in 2008. An additional course in Computer Applications, ASPandSM, and Library Science is also taught here. In 2015, the college received permission from MHRD and UGC to start a Community College program. A guest management degree was introduced under this system.

The college has two campuses with good infrastructure and facilities like R.O. drinking water, a Ramp for Divyangs, CCTV, etc.
Seminar Hall:A very spacious Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 300 people is present.
Girls Common Room:A Girl's common room is on the campus where girls can utilize their time during free hours.
College Hostel:The college has a hostel which is managed by the Welfare Department.
