Admission 2024-25

Admission procedure

•EAMCET Qualified and not Qualified (SC / ST / BC / EBC / Muslim Minority ) students may also join our college through the single window –III (EAMCET – AC) Counseling.

•Fee reimbursement scheme is applicable. They need not attend EAMCET Counseling (single window –I) operated by the government of A.P.

•For those students tuition fees and mess charges will be reimbursed by the government.

•The SSC Completed & CEEP qualified students are eligible to get admission.

•Fee Reimbursement applicable as per norms.

Examinations

A student will be declared eligible for the award of the B. Tech. Degree if he fulfills the following academic regulations.

(a) Pursued a course of study for not less than four academic years and not more than eight academic years. However, the student is permitted to write Supplementary examinations for two more years, giving a facility to the student to complete the Degree within 10 academic years.

(b) Registered for 208 credits and secured 200 credits with compulsory subjects: (compulsory subjects are: all Laboratories and Project work, i.e. the student shall pass all laboratory examinations and project work).

2. Students, who fail to complete their Four-year Course of study within Eight years or fail to acquire the 200 Credits for the award of the degree within ten academic years from the year of their admission, shall forfeit their seat in the B. Tech course and their admission shall stand canceled.

Library

•As a center of intense intellectual inquiry the library envisions becoming a vibration learning center while providing intense intellectual inquiry. It would strive to maintain dynamic equilibrium with its social and economic environment striving continuously for excellence in technological service.

• The library, an intellectual asset to institutions, is a power grid illumining innumerable minds. In keeping with its status, the Library of A1 GLOBAL INSTITUTE OF ENGG AND TECHNOLOGY is housed in a well-ventilated, spacious building with centralized Air-conditioning. The 10200 volumes which include textbooks, reference and general books, and dissertations are all orderly perched in steel racks, readily accessible to their users. A sum of Rs. One Lakh is earmarked every year to subscribe to 50 national and 14 international journals. The Library is ideally furnished with comfortable seating arrangements gender-wise.

Placement

The college has established a Training and Placement Cell, Counseling and guiding students, arranging project works in industries, industrial visits, industrial training during vacation, organizing campus interviews, providing job market information to students and necessary inputs to face the interviews, organizing Guest Lectures and Campus Selections, arranging industrial training for students, arranging industrial internships for faculty are some of the activities of the Training & Placement Cell. Organize training programs on all the issues related to placement activity. Training programs are held in four sessions. The College has a separate Training and Placement Cell:

Training Programs

Keeping in view the growing importance of Soft Skills in the present-day competitive world, the department is imparting Soft Skills to the students right from one year on. Along with regular subjects, a separate session is allotted to each branch for training on aptitude, verbal, and soft skills. Pre-placement training classes and coaching classes for GRE & GATE are arranged as a part of a regular timetable.

•Systematic and continuous pre-placement training from pre-final year on-wards by expert trainers from External training. Agencies like TIME, Vikas Training Institute, Nice Training Institute, Nellore.

•Frequent mock tests on the aspects of pre-placement training.
