ABR College of Engineering and Technology, one of the best colleges in and around the Prakasam District, was established in 2008 and sponsored by ABR Educational Society to promote technological education to meet the requirements of a developing nation in the context of global concern at the threshold of the twenty-first century. •ABR College of Engineering & Technology offers a full-time B.Tech program in seven specializations. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B. Tech course is a 10+2 or equivalent examination in the Science stream from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
•Selection for the government quota seats is done on the basis of EAMCET rank. For B-Category seats, candidates are selected on the basis of marks in 10+2.

•Candidates seeking admission over Category-B seats may collect the application form from the institute’s office. For payment of fees, the candidates can submit a DD drawn in favor of the institute.
•Candidates appearing in their final year exam are also eligible to apply and will be granted provisional admission until the documents are submitted within the stipulated dates.
•ABR College of Engineering & Technology offers postgraduate-level engineering degree programs (M. Tech) in two specializations. It also offers a two-year MBA program. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to M. Tech is a BE/ B. Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Graduates in any discipline are eligible for the MBA program provided they have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying program.
•Selection of candidates for M. Tech is done through AP-PGECET and counseling. For MBA admissions, the candidates are selected on the basis of AP-ICET score followed by JNTU counseling.

ABR College of Engineering & Technology offers admission to various courses through state-level entrance and counseling conducted by JNTU, Kakinada. Candidates may visit the relevant entrance test websites, viz, AP EAMCET, AP-PGECET, and AP-ICET in order to fill out the application form. The entrance tests are usually held in the month of April-May and counseling is conducted from the last week of June till mid-August.
Candidates who qualify for the entrance tests must register for JNTU counseling. Allotment of seats is carried out during counseling on the basis of their rank. The application- cum- counseling process is as follows:
•Candidates seeking admission to government quota seats must fill out the online application form by visiting the respective websites.
•Payment of the application fee can be done online using a credit/ debit card or net banking.
•Applicants are required to download the admit cards from the respective websites as notified and appear in the entrance tests conducted for the purpose of selection.
•Candidates qualifying for the entrance test must visit one of the nearest Help-line Centers with all the relevant documents for verification.
•After verification of the documents, the candidates will receive a Blank Option Form along with a list of college names, courses, and their codes.
•The applicant must write down their preferred college and course codes on a priority basis.
•A crucial component of ABR CET's success in placement is its dedicated and proactive placement cell. The placement cell works tirelessly to establish and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of companies, both within and outside the region. This network includes IT giants, core engineering companies, startups, and more.
•The cell conducts regular training sessions, workshops, and mock interviews to prepare students for placement processes. These initiatives help students develop soft skills, communication abilities, and interview techniques, which are as crucial as technical knowledge in securing a job.
