Recognization & Accreditations 

AMET holds accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a Grade A and a CGPA of 3.13. Additionally, the institution is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and has approvals from AICTE and MHRD. AMET's commitment to innovation is reflected in its ranking in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement (ARIIA) and its recognition as a Deemed to Be University. Furthermore, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, has designated AMET as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) for the period 2019-2022.

  • As per law, Universities do not require AICTE approval. Only institutions which are affiliated to Universities require approval.   • The National Assessment and Accreditation Council is a government organization in India that assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions. It is an autonomous body funded by the University Grants Commission and headquartered in Bangalore.

  • The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is one of the two major bodies responsible for accreditation of higher education institutions in India, along with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). NBA accredits technical programmes, such engineering and management programmes, while NAAC accredits general colleges and universities. NBA is a full member of the Washington Accord.
