How to Apply?

The Maritime Training Trust (MTT) under the Directorate General of Shipping (Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India) offers a scholarship of Rs.1,00,000 per annum to Indian female seafarers enrolled in DGS-approved Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) for pre-sea courses.

Shree Janakiraman Scholarship

AMET University provides fee concessions to economically disadvantaged students unable to afford regular tuition fees. Eligible students can apply for this scholarship, which is named in honor of Shree Janakiraman, after submitting a request to the Vice Chancellor. The annual family income limit for eligibility is Rs.2.00 lakhs.

Meritorious Student Scholarship

AMET University rewards outstanding students who score above 90% in their Higher Secondary Examination with a 15% tuition fee concession. Applications for this scholarship are reviewed by the Vice Chancellor, and the family's annual income should not exceed Rs.2.00 lakhs.

First Graduate Fees Concession

In compliance with Government Order Ms: No:85/Higher Education (J2) Department dt:16.04.10, AMET offers a 15% tuition fee concession to first-generation graduates. To avail of this concession in the first year, candidates must submit a joint declaration from parents and the "No Graduate Certificate" from the Revenue Authority.

Single Parent Scholarship

This scholarship supports students who have been orphaned due to death or divorce and face financial constraints in paying course fees. Eligible students can apply by submitting relevant documents such as death certificates or legal heir certificates. The scholarship offers a 15% tuition fee concession.

Girl Cadet Scholarship
