Academy of Sports Science Research & Management Scholarship

The Academy of Sports Science Research & Management offers a Scholarship for Outstanding Athletes looking to be admitted to the B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sports Science. Under this program, 20 seats have been reserved for gifted sports players who wish to be admitted to this program through a special sports quota. To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must provide valid testimonials, as well as an attested or original copy of their certificates for their highest sporting achievement, within the past 3 years from the date of registration. Students from the Academic are qualified for admission provided they have competed as an athlete, or represented in events, winning medals, at either the International or National level, including but not limited to the International Olympic Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, PSI International events, and National Games. Equally, athletes qualifying for admission under the sports quota from the Senior National, Junior National, Federation Cup, World Cup, Khelo India Youth Games, as mentioned below, medal winners would be considered for scholarship.

Students who have represented India or a State in any recognised competition will be eligible if it has taken place within the past 3 years preceding the date of application. In addition, the physical fitness test and sports trial must be undertaken. A properly indicated Selection Committee will further consider the applications based on merit and performance. It is important to know that the selection committee's decisions are final and binding, and will not be subject to appeal or further correspondence.
