The National Cadet Corps, popularly known as the NCC, is the student wing of the Indian Army, headquartered in New Delhi. NCC is headed by DG New Delhi. NCC has three wings namely Army, Naval, and Air Wing which operates as 17 divisions across India. Commandos are divided into groups, battalions to operate effectively to achieve the vision, also known as the second armed forces. Educational institutions play an important role in the coordination of the RKK with the armed forces. The Coys are commanded by NCC Non-Commissioned Officers (ANOs) trained at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) of the Indian Army and commissioned as lieutenants.

The tournament is traditionally held in March and attracts top cricketers and fans to the campus. Acharya Football League is a 5-a-side football tournament organized annually on campus. International and Indian students share the field to showcase their soccer skills and passion to bring glory to their team. The tournament is played under lights in front of a full court every year in March.
