Girls Hostel:

The college has one of the best hostel facilities on the college campus for girls. It has about 150 rooms students stay on a twin-shared basis. Every room has chairs, Tables, Almirah & Box beds. It has a separate Hygienic toilet facility for the students with hot and cold running water. Female attendant regularly serves the students. There are water coolers fitted with RO System. The common room has facilities of T.V, Carom-board, Table-Tennis. There is a sick room for the ill students. The hostel warden takes regular attendance at night to physically verify the presence of students. S.T.D. The facility is there. The hostel mess has a sitting facility of 150 students. Hygienic and nutritious food is served to the students at very economical rates. Variety of food green vegetables. Various type of dishes is being served in the mess. The mess has deep freezers.

Library:

The college has a spacious well-stocked library with a sitting capacity of 120 students. Adarsh Nursing College library has a wide array of textbooks and journals. At present, around 4000 textbooks, and 15 Indian and 5 International journals are available in the library. The library offers internet facilities and e-journals along with a reprography facility. Local newspapers & magazines are prescribed for the library for the students. The library is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There are two well-qualified librarians who work the morning and evening shifts and give services to students and teachers. The library is connected with HSLIBNET, which means the students can log on and can have access to Baba Farid University of Health Science’s, Central Library. The library is regularly updated by purchasing new books and journals.

Sports:

The college has its own playground and arrangement for indoor and outdoor games. Annual Sports Functions are regularly held on the college campus.

I.T Infrastructure:

As per today's scenario, computer knowledge is a must for every student. The students of nursing learn about the basics of computer allocation in this lab. For this purpose, we have a regular well-equipped computer lab at our college. There are 30 computers with WiFi connection. The computer teacher takes the regular classes and here the students are taught M.S Word, PowerPoint, and M.S Excel by MCA qualified teacher.

Auditorium:

A big room above the library serves as the college auditorium where various seminars discussions inter-college debates are held. Various college functions are also performed over here. This auditorium is equipped with a projector big screen and a sound system. Outside persons who want to give their presentations come to this room.

Transport Facility:

The college has a transport facility for students and staff.

Laboratories:

Community Health Lab The students must have opportunities for learning in real-life situations and in which urban and rural health services are being provided. Home visiting bags are available for demonstration an insufficient number for use by the students. The College of Nursing Community Health Laboratory also has an adequate stock of supplies to keep the bags complete and ready. Nutrition Lab Nutrition Lab is the part of nursing curriculum, where the students are taught about the nutritive value of various foods, therapeutic diet, and how to prepare the diet for diabetes, hypertension, gastroenteritis, anemia, etc. We have a well-equipped lab for this purpose. This lab has various diet charts, AV aids, and a central gas supply for a cooking demonstration of food. We have microwave ovens, refrigerators, pressure cookers, and utensils. This lab is regularly updated and there is a well-qualified teacher to give practicals to students. Fundamentals of Nursing Lab The Nursing Foundation lab is spacious. This lab is organized with a view of the ward of a hospital. The lab is provided with dummies and manikins of all systems of the body. Nursing students are taught basic principles and procedures like bed making, personal hygienic care, checking of the vital signs, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, NasoGastric tube feeding, enema, Intravenous, and Intramuscular injections, tracheotomy care, suturing, Bandage and Surgical dressing of the wound with aseptic techniques. Pre Clinical Lab a. Anatomy & Physiology For teaching the structure and functions of the human body in addition to the classroom, a laboratory with Specimens of parts of the human body, Anatomical charts, and atlases, an articulated skeleton, disarticulated bones, slides and dissectible models of organs are available. b. Microbiology In the microbiology lab basic principles of infection, pathogens, types of bacteria, the study of slides of the various disease under a microscope, how to prepare a slide, and various lab stains and reagents.

Cafeteria:

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
