AIT B.Tech Eligibility

1. Interested Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the course as prescribed by the institution.

2. Passed the HSC ( intermediate) examination with Mathematics, physics, and chemistry as their main subjects.

3. Passed the 12th exam with 45% for the general category and 40% for the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

4. A valid counseling call letter from TNEA ( Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions), if taking admission through counseling.

5. AIT B.Tech Selection Criteria

6. Selection of the students is done both through TNEA counseling and management quota.

7. Candidates must oblige the required eligibility for the course and also can apply for TNEA to get into the institution through Counselling.

8. TNEA does not conduct any entrance examination but depends on the performance of the 12th standard.

9. It publishes a merit list according to the grades obtained in the intermediate exam and releases a call letter for counseling.

AIT M.E. Selection Criteria

1. Candidates who wish to be admitted to the M.E course must fulfill the criteria given above.
2. AIT also considers a valid GATE scorecard for its M.E course.
3. No separate examination is conducted for the above course.
4. B.TECH / B.E and B.Arch general students need to have 50 % aggregate and 45% for SCs and STs.
5. AIT MBA Eligibility Criteria
6. Passed the bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate for general and 45% for the reserved categories.
7. Passed B.Tech/ B.Arch B.E, BBA, B. Pharma or equivalent with the required percentage
8. Qualify the TANCET OR MAT. The selection of the candidate will also be on the basis of the score in the above examination.

AIT MBA Selection Criteria

1. Students are required to pass their Bachelor's degree with the required percentage to get admission in the MBA course.
2. AIT also gives weightage to your performance in TANCET ( Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test) or MAT.
3. Candidates need to have a valid scorecard for the TANCET or MAT examinations.
4. Counseling for the MBA course will be done on the basis of your performance in the above entrance examinations.
