The college library at AIT is one of the best-established libraries and has a large collection of books covering various branches of Engineering, Science Technology, Humanities, and its related fields. The ‘Digital Library’ service with an Internet facility allows readers to have access to videos of NPTEL course materials and e-journals. The Library transactions are carried out by Bar Code Technology. It has the facility of Web OPAC-online search. All the library catalogs can be accessed through the intranet, in the future through the internet. All the books meant for lending are kept on spacious shelves. The books are classified according to the Dewey decimal classification. Bay guides are available for easy access. The open-access system is followed which goes a long way to help the readers in locating books and making the search easy. A collection of about 19411 volumes of Books, 150 periodicals of print and 1200 digital versions, and 1289 CDs/DVDs/VCDs cater to the needs of the reader.
