The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Two buildings are exclusively reserved for Hostels by the Shanti Education Society to accommodate 400 students. The hostel Rector coordinates and controls the hostel activities. Students are required to abide by the rules of the hostel. The hostel also has a facility for Generator Backup and Solar Water & Electricity Systems.

A library endowed with books and periodicals having rich, latest, and updated information forms the backbone of any educational institute.

The Central library is enriched with a sufficient quantity of technical books, journals, reference volumes, etc. that are required for learning and teaching all disciplines. The central library gives support to the educational & research programs of the Institute by providing physical & intellectual access to information. It consists of Reference Section, Journal Section, Reading Hall, Digital library section, Multimedia Facility, Stack-Room, etc. The library has a unique collection of encyclopedias, Handbooks, Textbooks, Journals, CDs, etc. The library uses ‘DelNet’ software. The circulation system of books is based on the Bar- Code. The library is part of an institute-wide Network. A total of 15,000 + books are available for student reference.

Admission Process

Admissions to AG Patil Institute of Polytechnic are purely based on merit obtained in the matriculation examination (10th Standard) and there is no need of securing any ranking in the entrance exams. Both 10th and 10+2 marks are considered for the admission process of normal and lateral entry diplomas respectively. Admission to all the courses is held strictly as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai.

Placements

The college has an actively functioning placement cell that maintains cordial relationships with all industrial recruiters. The placement cell conducts frequent seminars and workshops, mock interviews, and group discussions to make the students aware of dynamic industry standards as well as to enhance their aptitude and applicative abilities. The placement cell makes sure all the students are industry-ready.
