AHA was established in 1987 under Societies Registration Act, 1860 at AIIMS, New Delhi and later moved to its own campus to AHA House, Sector 62, NOIDA (UP). AHA also exempted from IT Act 12-A & 80-G.

Trained more than 450 Healthcare professionals through distance learning programme for Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management [PGDHHM] approved by DGHS, Govt. of India. AHA successfully designed curricula and conducted a PG Diploma course (PGDHM) in Hospital and Health Management for over two decades. Later ran the programme in collaboration with IGNOU and trained more than 4500 candidates across the country 2000-2004.
