Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology, Palakkad was established in 2012 under Ahilya International Foundation. It is affiliated with the University of Calicut, Malappuram, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the institute is to achieve a dynamic equilibrium with its social and ecological environment and provide academic, research, consultancy, and outreach programs to maintain that intangible quality called the Ahalia spirit.

Admission

Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology offers the B.Tech program at an undergraduate level under 5 specializations.

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination from a board/examination recognized by any University of Kerala and have secured a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Chemistry / Computer Science / Biotechnology / Biology in total and a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics alone are eligible to apply for the B.Tech program.

Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backwards Classes (SEBC) will be considered eligible to apply if they have secured a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and 55% marks in Physics and Chemistry combined.

Candidates belonging to SC and ST need only a pass in the 10+2 qualifying examination, to be considered eligible to apply for the B.Tech course at ASET.

Three-year Diploma in Engineering, from a recognized institution, are also eligible to apply for admission into the first year of B.Tech, provided that they have secured

minimum 50% marks in the second and third-year diploma examinations.

Diploma holders, who have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate, are eligible to apply for admission into the third semester of the B.Tech course at ASET.

Seats to the B.Tech course will be allotted on the basis of performance in the KEAM entrance examination.
