Al Jamia Arts and Science College were established in 2010 and its main goal is to raise the morale of Muslims and other developing communities and transform them into professionally competent, socially responsible, and morally sound citizens. The minority-status college is affiliated with Calicut University and recognized by the Government of Kerala. The campus is located in Poopalam, 2.5 km from Perinthalmanna town on the Perinthalmanna - Ootty road and 2 km from Palakkad railway station. It is a sister facility of Al Jamia Al Islamiya managed by Islamic Mission Trust (IMT) Santhapuram, Pattikkad, Perinthalmanna.
