Anand Institute of Higher Technology UG Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for undergraduate programs at Anand Institute of Higher Technology should have completed their 12th grade from a recognized institution. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects and secured a minimum of 50% marks in the board examination.

Upon successful registration, candidates are required to visit the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) for document verification. Once documents are verified, the authorities will release a merit list based on scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Applicants will be categorized according to their ranks and are expected to attend the TNEA counseling sessions conducted by Anna University. Typically, there are 4 to 5 rounds of counseling.

To participate in the counseling process, applicants need to log in to the TNEA portal using their user ID and password. After each counseling round, a list of eligible candidates will be posted on the portal. Candidates who are selected must pay an initial fee of INR 5000/- (INR 1000/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates from Tamil Nadu).

Once the fee is paid, candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses and lock in their choices. Seats are allocated based on the candidates' ranks and preferences. If a seat is allocated according to a candidate's choice, they must report to the college to pay the remaining fees and secure their admission.

Candidates applying for postgraduate programs should possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories must have a minimum of 45% marks to be eligible.

Anand Institute of Higher Technology PG Admission Process
Anna University administers the TANCET exam for admission to PG programs. Additionally, applicants with CAT/MAT scores are considered for the MBA program. Successful candidates from these exams are then eligible to participate in the TANCA Counselling and must register online to do so.

A merit list will be published by the authorities, ranking candidates based on their TANCET scores. CAT/MAT qualifiers can directly join the counseling sessions.

Candidates whose names appear on the merit list should download the Call Letter from the official website using their registration number and password. During the counseling session, candidates must present their original documents for verification and select their preferred course and college.

A counselling fee of INR 5300/- (INR 1150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates) must be paid via a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Secretary, TANCA, Anna University”, payable at Chennai.

Seats are allocated based on the candidate's rank and chosen preferences. Candidates satisfied with their seat allotment can confirm their seat, while others have the option to slide or float their choices.

Note: An E-Call letter with details of the TFC's date, time, and address will be available on the TNEA website. Registered candidates will also receive an email and SMS notification.
