AIMS Syndicate or Advanced Information and Management Studies is a prime location educational institute in  West Bengal offering a broad category of management courses. These include WBUT courses and certificate courses. It has been duly recognized and recognized by the Global Center for Human Resource Development for its complex infrastructure and talented staff.

Courses offered

AIMS Syndicate or Advanced Information and Management Studies has offered various degree programs such as Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), BBA (Hospitality and Tourism), BBA (Tourism and Travel Management), BBA (Hospitality Management) and BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) etc. On the courses page, you will also find a brief overview of the various courses at the university in the various disciplines and their specializations.  

Facilities and Infrastructure

Residential Accommodations:

The hostels have independent triple rooms, spacious, airy and with a wonderful view. They are furnished with basic amenities such as a bed, table, chair, small closet, and electrical appliances with 24-hour access to water. Hostellers and staff have laundry facilities on campus. A recreation room with indoor game facilities like chess, and billiards is there for your free time. There is also a TV block. Single or double rooms can be provided at the request of students or their parents at an additional cost, subject to availability.  

Library:  

The college has a well-stocked central library with books, magazines, CDs and newspapers. Efforts are being made to provide access to international journals and online libraries. The library has a large, spacious and furnished reading room. Students are free to spend their free time with the valuable documents available in the reading room.  

kitchen: 

The AIMS Syndicate or Advance Information and Management Studies provides a spacious, well-furnished, and well-equipped kitchen facility where students can learn practical cooking and serving skills to enhance their abilities.

Labs: 

Computer labs are fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest P-4 computers, requisite licensed software and broadband internet connectivity. All the labs are fully networked and interconnected through hubs and switches. The computer systems run on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 98 and Linux. The systems have also various licensed Office automation and application development tool like MS Office XP, AutoCAD, Macromedia, Adobe Visual FoxPro 7.0, Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual Inter Dev, Borland's Turbo C++ compiler for both DOS and Windows, Java development kit and more to cater to the needs of the students in the ever-changing field of IT. The institute is in the process of purchasing licensed copies of much more relevant software.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

The institution has a specious and well-furnished cafeteria where students can enjoy their meal and their free time.

Support services :

A student advisor has been appointed to help the students with any queries or difficulties they might have. The advisor is available to assist the students in finding accommodation and advise them regarding transport, part-time jobs, banking and health services and any other issue that may arise.
