INFRASTRUCTURE

Amity Institute of Physiotherapy boasts excellent infrastructure with state-of-the-art classrooms designed to maximize interaction between faculty and students. The faculty employs modern teaching aids during lectures, and computer laboratories are readily accessible to students.

CLINICAL TRAINING

At Amity Institute of Physiotherapy, practical training is facilitated through affiliations with various multispecialty private and government hospitals in Delhi/NCR. Additionally, the institute provides in-house training through its Physiotherapy OPD located on the campus.

RESEARCH WORK

Emphasis on research begins from the third semester for BPT students, continuing through the 9th semester as non-teaching credit courses (NTCC). This includes summer training, minor and major projects, and case studies. The MPT program incorporates research work such as case studies, fieldwork, and dissertations, aligning with Education 4.0.

GUEST LECTURES / SEMINARS / WORKSHOPS

Regular seminars and workshops are conducted at AIPT to keep students abreast of the latest information in Health Sciences and Physiotherapy. Eminent speakers from India and abroad are invited to share their knowledge and skills with students.

FACULTY AND STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Under the faculty exchange program, AIPT faculty visited Lulea University, Sweden, gaining exposure to cross-cultural physiotherapy expertise. Reciprocally, faculty and students from Maryville University, USA, and Lulea University visited AIPT, sharing knowledge and skills in their respective fields.

LABS

AIPT features fully equipped labs for Anatomy, Physiology, Electrotherapy, Exercise Therapy, and a Research lab. These labs adhere to safety protocols and are consistently updated with cutting-edge equipment and modalities (ECG with heart rate variability, EMG, NCV, EP, Biofeedback, PFT, and Balance Analyzer) to provide world-class education and research opportunities.

LIBRARY

The AIPT library offers an extensive collection of leading Physiotherapy and rehabilitation magazines, journals, and books to meet the professional needs of students. Additionally, students have access to the well-equipped Central library at the University campus.

RESIDENTIAL HOSTELS

Amity Institute of Physiotherapy assists students in securing residential facilities. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available on the Amity Campus, Noida, with priority given to outstation students.

WIRELESS CAMPUS

Amity has its own 1 MBPS radio link for 24-hour fast and easy internet and intranet connectivity, making the Amity Noida campus the first Wireless Campus in India.

SPORTS AND EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Amity Noida campus provides extensive sports facilities, including an Olympic-sized Running Track, Cricket Ground, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton Courts, and Horse Riding facilities. Students also have access to Billiards and Table Tennis facilities at the hostels, with annual events like Sangathan and youth festivals providing opportunities to showcase talents and sports skills.
