Alankar Mahila P.G Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur was established in the year 2006 as per the wishes of Late Shri Ram Pratap Kataria, who wished that a college for women be established at “Kataria Krishi Farm, Bishnawala, Jaipur”. His cherished vision took shape as “Alankar P.G. Girls College” and many well-wishers from the field of education lent their shoulders to this noble cause.
Alankar Mahila P.G Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur was established in the year 2006 as per the wishes of the Late Shri Ram Pratap Kataria. Alankar P.G. Girls College embraces its responsibility to address issues of gender in all of their complexity and urgency and to help students achieve the personal strength that will enable them to meet the challenges so that they can overcome the challenges. The Institution thrives on high expectations.
Alankar P.G. Girls College, Jaipur is the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and is affiliated to Uniraj- University of Rajasthan (UR, Jaipur).
Alankar P.G. Girls College, Jaipur courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degrees i.e Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA Hons.) Sociology, Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hindi Literature, Bachelor of Arts (BA) English Literature, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Zoology etc.Postgraduate degree i.e Master of Science (M.Sc. ) Geography, Master of Science (M.Sc.) Alankar College is recognized for its major concern to all the students and parents about the availability and quality of accommodation and other facilities that's why the college provides the following facilities to the students. Indoor Stadium, Swimming Pool, Conference Room, Gym.
Library:
All students must observe total silence in the library and its environs at all times. The students of graduation courses can get two books at a time of issuance, and Postgraduate students can get three books at a time. All students will be held responsible for any damages or loss of library materials in their possession and will be required to meet the cost of the books.
Cultural Activities:
The college organizes cultural activities on various occasions such as fresher's party, Dandia, Youthfest, "YUVA"(college week), Science and Techno exhibition, and co-curricular activities during the session.
Transport Facility:
In order to avoid difficulty for the students to reach from far-flung areas, the college provides the facilities of transportation from every nook and corner of the city. The institution has pressed into service, having a fleet of buses for students to all corners of the city and rural areas.
Seminar & Workshops:
The institution conducts workshops and seminars for BCA & P.G. Courses, So that Students can get immense opportunities to learn from academics and industry experts and they can enable them to set realistic expectations about career options.
Book Bank:
Alankar Mahila P.G. Mahavidyalaya provides Department wise Book Bank facility to help the needy meritorious students. In our Book Bank scheme, a set of textbooks are loaned to the students for their use during the academic session. The Book Bank has a separate collection of books other than the library books.
Laboratories:
have developed a highly advanced computer lab with the latest computers connected in a LAN (Local Area Network).State-of-the-art laboratories for Physics, Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, Geography, Home Science, Psychology, and Drawing and painting which are fully Equipped with the latest & modern equipment prescribed as per the syllabus of the university.
Hostel Facility:
Hostel Accommodation is available on the campus. It has an eco-friendly and pollution-free environment. The rooms are airy and spacious. The loving motherly care provided by the hostel warden gives security to students. First Aid and 24-hour medical facility are available to resident students. Hostel forms are to be filled and submitted separately in the college office. The hostel has a modern mess and dining hall with an indoor games facility.
Communication Lab:
To be able to speak and write lucidly and effectively, which is a fast-growing need of the time, training in communication skills will prepare you to face interviews, participate in group discussions and make a speech or presentation and write reports in the proper language. It is mandatory for all the students to attend the communication lab classes.
12th pass students from CBSE, RBSE & other boards from concern streams can seek admission in B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. and BCA (Science, Maths, computer application, and physics students are eligible to get admission in the BCA stream). For M.Sc., M. Com., and M.A. courses the students should have obtained 55% in undergraduate according to rules and regulations given by the University of Rajasthan or College Directorate.
