ALARD College of Business Studies (ACBS) is a part of ALARD Charitable Trust, an educational trust registered under the Bombay Charitable Trust Act 1960 bearing Registration No. E-2964-Pune dated 3rd Nov 1999. The trust is established for promoting educational activities & programs as well as to create job opportunities for rural masses.

ACBS was established to provide future professionals with sustainable skills, conceptual knowledge, and practical awareness to empower them to succeed in an ever-changing, challenging & dynamic corporate environment. ACBS is the flagship institute offering BBA & BCA programs affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.

To train the students with the required skills, ACBS conducts several Value Added Add-On Courses each semester. To enhance the conceptual knowledge of the students, ACBS focuses on Specialization-Oriented Certificate Courses. To equip the students with the practical approach, ACBS facilitates Industry exposure through regular guest lectures, seminars, workshops & Industry-visits. Finally, the Internships program at ACBS sets up the student for a successful career in the corporate.

A classroom is the first leap of students toward the vastly competitive world and the institute has seen to it that the students are comfortable with it. The institute can boast of rendering the students spacious, well-illuminated, and ventilated rooms. The lecture rooms are well equipped to render education in the most modern ways.

The institute has a seminar hall, beautifully built with care. This seminar hall has a touch of simplicity with elegance. Acoustically and aesthetically well-designed, this seminar hall is equipped with built-in Audio, LCD, and Video Systems conducive to the overall learning and growth of the students.

The state-of-the-art modern lab with adequate computers and free internet facility for the students throughout the day is provided.

To enhance the effectiveness of presentations in Seminar & lectures by faculty, guest speaker, and students, the institute has good audio-visual facilities, which enhance the aids to a better understanding of the topic being covered

Modern well-illuminated and ventilated classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids for lecture delivery. All students have access to LCD and OHP for presentations.

A fully furnished Reading room with a sitting capacity of 60 and the facility of OPAC (Online public access) software makes it possible to access available books upon feeding subject/topic/author name/Keyword in the software. With the aid of the E-Library facility students can access any article from national & international scientific journals without a lapse of time.

The library houses a large collection of books and periodicals, including the latest publications in Management, International Business, Information Technology, E-Commerce, and other topics. Besides academic subjects, literature on Indian Culture, Philosophy, and Yoga Meditation are also made available. The students of AIMS can also become members of the British Council Library, Jaikar Library- Savitribai Phule Pune University, and the Library of Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture at Pune

Separate Hostels for boys and girls are provided on the campus itself. All outstation students opting for residential accommodation are provided, the same on the campus itself.

The college campus is having a hygienic and well-maintained canteen where food and snacks are served throughout the day

Equipped with all required instruments & equipment. Respective department stores are within the laboratories. The stores keep adequate stock of glassware, reagents, solvents, specimens, etc. required for daily practicals. The laboratories are managed by trained laboratory assistants.

The industrial lab includes 12 stations, Multi Tooling Mini-press Rotary Tablet Machine & Automatic Tablet Dissolution Test Apparatus.

The analytical laboratory is equipped with instruments such as HPLC, UV Spectrophotometer, Flourimeter, Nephelometer, Polarimeter, and Flame photometer.

Pharmacological studies are carried out in animal houses duly approved by CPCSEA, New Delhi. Animals are provided based on the type of study conducted.

Various Medicinal plants are available in the Medicinal Plant Garden, Students are made to study the details of morphological and microscopic characteristics of plants as part of their curriculum

Facilities for indoor games like chess, carom, table tennis, and badminton and outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, basketball, and football are available. Students participate in inter-college and intra-college sports competitions. Sports days are conducted every year for Intra college events.

Placements at ALARD College of Business Studies

At ALARD Institute of Management Sciences, a dynamic Placement Cell with a vision of increasing overall employability through personality and technical skill development is established. Placement activities for technical students i.e. MCA & BBA(CA) include counseling, mentoring, preparing for technical rounds along with improving communication skills and overall personality development. Various skill and personality development sessions, industry interactions, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, etc are conducted regularly for making students industry-ready.
