Admission 2023-24 To Alpha Arts And Science College (AASC, Chennai)

Admission Procedure

1. Application for admission to UG/PG course should be made in the application Form which is available along with the Prospectus at the Administrative Office, No 16, 3rd Cross Street, West C.I.T. Nagar, Chennai - 600 035 (Or) Alpha Arts and Science College Thundalam, Porur, Chennai - 600 116

2. Every application should be accompanied by 3 recent passport size and 2 stamp size photographs and attested photocopies of the following:

a. Higher Secondary Mark Sheet or its equivalent for admission to degree courses

b. Degree Mark Lists and Degree certificates for PG admissions.

c. Transfer Certificate from the Principal of the School/College last attended.

3. Selected candidates should deposit all the original certificates with the college which will be returned only after the completion of the course.

a. Higher Secondary Mark Sheet or its equivalent for admission to degree courses

b. Degree Mark Lists and Degree Certificate for PG admissions.

c. Transfer Certificate from the Principal of the School/College last attended.

d. Conduct Certificate from the Principal of the School/College last attended.

e. Community Certificate issued by a competent authority in the case of BC/MBC/SC/ST.

f. Provisional Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras (for students from other Boards/Universities within India or outside India).

Foreign students must enclose copies of the following:

• No Objection Certificate from HRD, Government of India

• Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras

• Valid Student Visa and Passport

• Residential Permission to stay in India

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Undergraduate Programmes: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of the 10 +2 pattern conducted by the government of Tamil Nadu, AISSC, DSSC, CBSE, New Delhi, and ICSE, New Delhi are eligible to apply.

Post-Graduate Programmes: Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Madras or an Institution recognized by the University of Madras are eligible to apply.
