Application Process
Step 1: Visit the official website of the college and navigate to the 'Admission' tab.
Step 2: Log in to the admission portal and complete the application form with all necessary details.
Step 3: Upload the required documents and proceed to pay the application fee of INR 1200 through online mode.
Step 4: Submit the application form and retain a printout for future reference.
Selection Criteria
At AGC, admission to various courses for the 2021 session follows the AGC NEST (National Entrance Scholarship Exam) process, providing scholarships of up to INR 1.5 Lac. Eligible courses include B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BHMCT, BA, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.), B.Com (Hons.), MCA, MBA, B.Pharm, BA LLB, and LLB.
For admission to B.Tech-LEET or B.Pharm-LEET, the marks attained in a previously completed diploma will be considered. No Entrance Exam is required, but online registration is mandatory.
Admission to B. Voc Courses (B. Voc. in Hospitality & Catering Management, Automobile Servicing, Software Development), B. Tech ECE, and D.Pharmacy is based on the marks obtained in higher secondary (12th class). No Entrance Exam is conducted for these courses, but candidates must register online.
Residential Accommodation:
Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) provides high-quality hostel accommodations for both male and female students aspiring to study in Punjab. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hostel is designated for male students, offering around 108 rooms, while the Kalpana Chawla Hostel caters to female students with 54 rooms.
