AMS College of Polytechnic was established in 2000 at Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with WBSCTE. The college offers diploma courses in four engineering disciplines, which include Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Automotive engineering. All programs are three years in duration and all these courses are offered full-time only. To apply for the courses, the applicant must have passed at least the secondary school examination, and the application is based on merit.
