Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts & Science College for Women was established as an evening college for women in 1966, to offer opportunities to working women and wives to gain access to advanced education within Hyderabad. The college had 15 students in PUC and five students in B.A. The then Vice Prime Minister for India Dr. Moraiji Desai, inaugurated the college on July 14, 1968.

If the student who secured the Highest marks does not join the Andhra Mahila Sabha College, the scholarship will be given to the student who secures the highest marks from among the students who join this college after passing the SSC Examination from Andhra Mahila Sabha School. For the 2nd year intermediate course, the scholarship will be awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the intermediate 1 year Examination from this college.

Smt. Venkataram Anamma Memorial Scholarship

To candidate who passes the intermediate Examinations from the college securing the highest marks among the students of this college and pursuing the course of study in the college. Otherwise, the scholarship will be given to the next candidate who pursues the course of study in this college(B.Com-1) To the candidate who passed the B.Com-1 year examination securing the highest marks and pursuing the course of study in this college. If such a student does not continue to study in the college, the scholarship will be awarded to the next candidate who has secured the highest marks among the students who passed from this college and pursues the course of study in the college B.Com 11 year.
