Library:

The college has a well-established library to cater to the academic needs of the students, faculty, and non-teaching staff. It is located on the first floor of the new building on the college campus. At present, it has a collection of about 21883 volumes of books as of 31.03.2015 (including reference books) and periodicals with back volumes. Automation of the college library has been started and retrospective conversion of the catalog is under process.

Admission

Applications for admission to Ananda Chandra College of Commerce have to be submitted online.

For the UG course in General, the candidate must pass HS or equivalent examination from any recognized board.

For the Honours course, the candidate must pass HS with 55% in the aggregate or 50% in aggregate with 60% in the subject.

For the reserved category, the candidate must pass HS with 50% aggregate or 45% in aggregate with 60% in the subject.

Admission is done based on merit and counseling.

The formula for the calculation of merit is (2xs+t)/6.

For PG courses, Bachelors's in the concerned discipline is necessary to fulfill eligibility.

Admission will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.
