Annai Veilankanni’s College Of Engineering (AVCE) in Kanchipuram facilitates undergraduate admissions through two avenues: the Government quota and the Management quota. The government quota, constituting 50% of the sanctioned strength, is filled through single-window counseling conducted by Anna University, Chennai, on behalf of the state Government. The remaining 50% of the Management quota is overseen by a committee established by the state government, headed by a retired Judge. This committee authorizes the association of engineering colleges to manage admissions for these reserved seats. Students obtain application forms from this association, submit their preferences for colleges, and based on the rank list prepared by the association, receive an allotment order for the chosen college. Admission under the management quota is then finalized using the allotment order issued by the management association.

A. Admission to First Year B.E.
Successful completion of the HSc academic or its equivalent, including vocational stream with engineering and technology vocational subjects, or related subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or any equivalent qualification approved by the relevant authorities.
Improvement marks can only be considered from the first improvement examination, taken by the candidate after passing the qualifying examination, in one or more subjects.
B. Admission to Second Year B.E. (Lateral Entry):
