Apeejay Institute of Design is a privately funded institute founded in the year of 1991 under the aegis of Apeejay Education Society. Apeejay Institute of Design courses is offered at various levels like the undergraduate program Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) Interior Design, Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) Fashion Design, Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) in Graphic Design.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

The Institute library besides having books & journals related to the Design field also is a resource centre comprising raw material samples/projects' original research documents. The library has the facilities of using it for reference, consultation, and preparing notes.

Audio Visual Room:

AID also has an Audio-Visual Room with a Slide projector, Overhead projector, and Interactive board with a seating capacity of 100 students. The A. V. Room is utilized for holding Guest Lectures, Presentations, and Seminars which students from all specializations attend from time to time.

Computer Lab:

Since computers are an integral part of Design Education, the Institute offers a well-structured design-oriented course in computers, in all the specializations and in the foundation course also. The lab has an array of Software such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Suit, Corel Graphic Suit, Adobe Page Maker, Autocad, 3D Max, Maya, and so on.

Candidates have to apply for admissions offline.

Candidates can download the application form online from the official website or collect it from the institute’s office.

Higher Secondary Examinations qualified candidates can apply for Bachelors in Design.

For PG courses, Bachelor’s in any discipline is a prerequisite

Admissions to B.Design will be made based on Aptitude Test and Interview.

For other courses, admissions will be based on the candidate’s performance in Personal Interview round.
