Apeejay Institute of Management, Jalandhar, Punjab (North India) was established in 1997 under the aegis of the Apeejay Education Society founded by Dr. Stya Paul. It was granted the status of a Technical Campus in 2012 by the All India Council of Technical Education. Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus has a very clear perspective of becoming academically responsive to the requirements of the Indian industry and commercial establishments. It has set for itself the goals of flair for innovation and capacity for adapting to the changing corporate scenario. Facilities and Infrastructure

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering is furnished with a state-of-the-art Physics Lab, with sophisticated precision-based tools and devices to build the student's aptitude in understanding the common phenomena and development of direct observation as compared to inferences based on theory.

The campus also possesses a high-end Chemistry Lab with cutting-edge branded equipment and boasts of a unique integrated design to cater to the needs of gas and water supply in addition to adequate safety measures.

The workshop is the central facility for imparting training to Engineering students. It comprises various shops namely Fitting Shop, Welding Shop, Carpentry Shop, Machine Shop, and Electrical Shop. Students of all branches use Workshop facilities for the fabrication of their minor and major projects.

The shops are endowed with modern machines and tools to help students practice and envisage various manufacturing processes. The students can get hands-on experience in machine operations, carpentry tools, and joint making, fusion welding processes & fitting processes, along with knowledge about basic electrical and electronic circuits.

The college has two three-story hostels, one each for boys and girls with an intake capacity of 75 students per hostel. All the hostels have a resident warden and other staff members. AIMETC boy’s hostels include Wi-Fi, separate well-furnished common rooms, guest rooms, sick rooms, and amenities like television, canteen, and newspapers.

The college has a 52-seater deluxe bus fitted with a music system. Apart from providing transportation facilities daily, AIMETC also provides transportation services for industrial visits and excursion trips.

To ensure students' medical needs are fulfilled, the college offers medical facilities.

The college has developed infrastructures for sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball, and badminton and indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carom, etc.

Admission

The admission to this course will be through CMAT / MAT or based on Merit in Graduation., provided the candidate is otherwise eligible for admission. The candidate seeking admission to MBA should meet the following eligibility criteria:

A candidate who has the minimum qualification of a Bachelor's Degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

The eligibility for admission shall be as per the notification of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from time to time.

He/ She should bear a good moral character.

He/ She must be in good mental and physical health. Each candidate before admission will have to undergo a medical fitness examination and shall have to produce a medical fitness certificate, as prescribed by the University.

A student admitted to the MBA program must be on the rolls of an affiliated College/ Institute to attend the classes regularly as per rules and shall pay such

fees to the College/ Institute as decided by the University / College / Institute from time to time.

Placements

A rigorous placement system is followed to ensure that there is a minimal mismatch between the candidates desired by the company and their subsequent availability. Accordingly, the following activities are undertaken:

The Placement Brochure is printed and mailed to various organizations, along with a cover letter inviting them for campus interviews.

Presentations are made by groups of students to prospective organizations in different cities.

These are followed by visits of the Training and Placement Officer along with students for formally inviting companies for campus placement.
