The Apeejay Saraswati P.G. College for Girls was established in 1974 and was brought under the aegis of the Apeejay Education Society in Dec. 1990. The name ‘Apeejay’ signifies and represents the ideal combination of modern and traditional values, spreading the light of knowledge and preparing the youth for the future, thus contributing towards the task of nation-building. The college is flourishing under the guidance of eminent educationist, industrialist, and philanthropist Dr. Stya Paul. It is situated at Charkhi Dadri - a remote area of southern Haryana, about 100 km. from New Delhi and 28 km. from its district headquarters in Bhiwani.

The college is spread over 5.25 acres of land in a lush green environment. Continual, persuasive, and sustained efforts have yielded results and the student strength has risen from 200 to 1550 in the past decade. The college not only caters effectively to the needs of modern times in the form of many professional courses but also offers some traditional courses that promote the inculcation of values among the youth. Being the only girls' college in the city and its surrounding area, it serves the educational need of girls living in a radius of about 15 km. Within the last decade, the college has metamorphosed into a force to reckon with, by achieving in every field - adding colors, hues, nuances, and brightness to its every dimension.

The Library is the pillar & pride of any educational institution. Presently the library of the college has a unique collection of 17470 books on various subjects and topics. It subscribes to various magazines, journals, and newspapers both in English and Hindi. A plethora of books have been added to enrich the library stock. The library has all the facilities to develop reading habits among the students. The library has a spacious reading room having a seating capacity of about 200 students

The college has two spacious and well-furnished computer labs. The labs are fully air-conditioned. There are 100 systems in the lab equipped with the latest technology and software that cater to the college curriculum. Internet facility is also available for the students. The college also has Overhead LCD Projectors that are used for Seminars and Extension Lectures organized within the campus.
