It amply provides for all the requirements of the teaching, training, and research programs of the institute. The library is fully computerized for the issue and return of books. The digital library section and research library sections have been added to augment research activities and advance reading by teachers and tech-savvy students. Besides the main library, there are departmental libraries for every stream. The college library has one of the largest stocks of over 30,000 books, over 2000 CDs for a digital library, about 125 national & international journals, and over 25 periodicals & newspapers. E-RESOURCES - The library is a member of the INDEST-AICTE consortium through which our library users can access a large number of E-journals.

Sports and Game

The Campus organizes Annual Sports meets every year in the month of September. All the students of the group participate in the Sports meet enthusiastically. The Sports Meet of the Year 2013 was inaugurated by the hands of the Director/Principal, Dr. T.D. Sharma by enhancing light on the importance of Sports in life, Dr. T.D. Sharma emphasized that sports are also a very important part of a student for the complete development. Sports play an important role in the development of the Physical and mental state of a student.

Admission 2024-25

Currently, Apex Institute of Technology (AIT Chandigarh) is accepting admissions for the year 2024. As an affiliated college of Chandigarh University, AIT Chandigarh collaborates with industry leaders such as IBM, TCS, Virtusa, SHRM, Tally, and Flip to offer courses like BBA, MBA, B.Tech, and M.Tech. Admission to these programs, determined through CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test), considers other national entrance tests like CAT/XAT/MAT/JEE Main results.

For BBA Admission 2024, AIT Chandigarh provides options in Business Analytics and Business Analytics and Digital Marketing. Eligibility requires a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board, subject to qualifying CUCET.

The B.Tech program, with four specializations and sub-specializations like B.Tech (Hons.) in CSE in collaboration with IBM, mandates eligibility of 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and any two of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology subjects, with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST). AIT Chandigarh conducts CUCET for B.Tech admission, and JEE Main qualifiers are exempted.

The MBA program at Apex Institute of Technology offers six electives - Fintech, Banking and Financial Engineering, Strategic HR, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Tourism and Hospitality Management.

For M.Tech (CSE) in Cloud Computing, eligibility requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent with at least 55% marks. Admission is granted based on a valid CUCET score.

The necessary documents for admission include 10+2 certificate, Bachelor’s degree, college/school leaving certificate, birth certificate, bonafide/certificate of conduct, caste certificate (if applicable), 5 passport-size photographs, and relevant entrance exam rank statements such as CAT, JEE Main, and CUCET.
