The college runs under the aegis of Arihant Education Foundation, Pune was established in the year 2012-13, and is located at Bavdhan, a suburban area of Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune. The physics lab is well-equipped with all the instruments required for practicals. It has to measure instruments, a Sonometer Kit, Logic gates kits, a Moment of inertia setup, Jaeger’s method setup, a Spectrometer, an LCR circuit, and many more. The laboratory is spacious and can accommodate 24 students at a time.
Well-equipped and spacious Laboratories for undergraduate courses. The Laboratories are maintained with proper ventilation along with necessary safety purpose fire extinguishing system. All equipment like pH meter, Conductivity meter, digital balance, centrifugal machine, and Electric water bath is available to perform the practicals. The laboratory is spacious and can accommodate 24 students at a time.
Well-spacious and well-ventilated Botany lab at Arihant provides specimens, microscopes, permanent slides, the latest method of physiological experiments, Genetics, section cutting of plants, demonstration dissection, etc. Botany lab is well equipped for undergraduate students to perform various botany practicals which are necessary for the study of the structure, properties, and biochemical processes of all forms of plant life, as well as plant classification, plant diseases, and the interactions of plants with their physical environment. Botany practical’s covered during the session are Section cutting, Taxonomic studies, physiological & ecological experiments, Study of community, Biochemical analysis, etc
Zoology Lab at Arihant provides a scientific study of the animal kingdom, along with its evolution, diversity, and environment. The zoology lab is well equipped with all necessary facilities such as preserved specimens, slides, models, and visual charts, which emphasize developing scientific temper among students. Practical work involves building knowledge of both the structure of different kinds of animals and how they function, and the complex relationships that govern how animals relate to each other and their surroundings.
One lab is available with a capacity of 50 computers in the lab. Each computer is connected to LAN with internet connectivity. Backup is available to each computer, so if there are interruptions in the electricity supply, the problem does not arise.
