AGCE Eligibility Criteria

1. Arvind Gavali College of Engineering stands as a leading institution in the field of engineering, affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere. Established in 2010 in Satara, Maharashtra, the college offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Polytechnic programs across various specializations.

2. For admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subjects, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Electronics, or Entrepreneurship. They should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State) in the aforementioned subjects taken together. Additionally, candidates must have appeared in all subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and obtained a non-zero score in the MHTCET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority.

3.For lateral entry to the B.Tech program, candidates must have completed a minimum of three years or two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology or a B.Sc. Degree with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) in any branch of Engineering and Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Government Institution or its equivalent.

For admission to the M.Tech program, candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy from AICTE or State Government institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates of Backward Class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State).

5. For admission to the Polytechnic program, candidates must have passed the 10th Std./ SSC examination or its equivalent, with at least 35% aggregate marks.

6. For lateral entry to the Polytechnic program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship. Alternatively, candidates with a 10th + (2 years ITI) qualification are eligible for admission to the Second Year Diploma Course(s) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. The Affiliating Body offers suitable bridge courses, such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., to students from diverse backgrounds to achieve the desired learning outcomes of the program.

The college follows the following steps for CAP counseling for B.Tech and M.Tech admissions:

  1. 1. Visit the official website of DTE, Maharashtra.

  2. 2. Register as a new user and complete the online application form.

  3. 3. MCandidates must then attend document verification at the Facilitation Center.

  4. 4. Preferences for courses and institutions should be filled and confirmed in the online form before CAP Round 1, in decreasing order of preference.

  5. After the final CAP round, candidates can report to the institution to confirm their admission.
