Arya Mahila P.G. College was founded and is managed by Shri Arya Mahila Hitakarini Mahaparishad. College was established in 1956 by the efforts of Smt. Vidya Devi Ji, a disciple of Shri Gyananand Maharaj Ji who laid the foundation of Bharat Dharma Mahamandal to promote the cause of women in the field of education and to preserve Indian culture and human values.
Arya Mahila P.G. College became based and is controlled through Shri Arya Mahila Hitakarini Mahaparishad. College became set up in 1956 through the efforts of Smt. Vidya Devi Ji, a disciple of Shri Gyananand Maharaj Ji laid the inspiration for Bharat Dharma Mahamandal to sell the motive of girls withinside the discipline of training and to maintain the Indian way of life and human values.
The college is approved by NAAC (National Assessment of Accreditation Council).
Arya Mahila P.G. College courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA Hons.) Sociology, Master of Arts (MA) English, etc). Library:
The library became set up in 1956, located withinside the campus of Arya Mahila P.G. College, Chetganj, Varanasi. The old library has shifted into a new library constructed on 14th February 2015. The College library has a rich collection of Textbooks, Reference books, Journals, Magazines, E-Journals, and E-books, associated with distinct topics which include Arts, Social Science, Education, Commerce, etc. The library has SOUL 3.0 Integrated library management software program for library automation that's designed and evolved through INFLIBNET Centre.
Admission can be sought only after qualifying in the merit list of the UET & PET Entrance Examination conducted by Banaras Hindu University.
Teachers should maintain good communication with students in all possible ways. Teachers are mentors of students and should be available to attend to their grievances during college hours. Teachers should be ready to take on additional duties assigned by the head of the institution before and after college hours.
