Arya Mahila P.G. College became based and is controlled through Shri Arya Mahila Hitakarini Mahaparishad. College became set up in 1956 through the efforts of Smt. Vidya Devi Ji, a disciple of Shri Gyananand Maharaj Ji laid the inspiration for Bharat Dharma Mahamandal to sell the motive of girls withinside the discipline of training and to maintain the Indian way of life and human values.

The library became set up in 1956, located withinside the campus of Arya Mahila P.G. College, Chetganj, Varanasi. The old library has shifted into a new library constructed on 14th February 2015.
